Parkinson Music is more than just Music!
Tim Parkinson
A native New Yorker, came to Houston on a musical quest not knowing he would find a whole new life in Jesus Christ. He was prayed into the Kingdom of God by the Single’s Ministry at Lakewood Church led by Minister Jim Scalise.
As a new Christian with a strong musical background, he was invited to join the Lakewood Orchestra. It was there that he gained vast experience under Pastor John Osteen both spiritually and in leadership.
He was the music director of the Lakewood Church orchestra for 13 years, wrote arrangements, rehearsed the choir and played the guitar. This also gave him many opportunities to arrange and record on musical projects like: “Lakewood Live” and Lakewood’s weekly television program.
Recently, God has been pouring out songs from heaven through Tim. He has written over 50 songs over the last year. Now, the Lord has directed Tim and Ruth to begin a full-time ministry of encouraging, enhancing, and helping music ministries to go to their next level of excellence and anointing.

Ruth Parkinson
Born and raised in Houston,TX, Ruth came out of a denominational background. After graduating from Houston Baptist University she had a desire for more of God. This led her to Lakewood Church where she became the church pianist for 18 years.
She also was the personal assistant to world renown minister, author, and speaker, Dr. Hilton Sutton for five years during this time.
The Lord opened the door for the both of them to be on staff at Lakewood Church where she served as Pastor Joel Osteen’s assistant for the next 13 years. Her position gave her much experience in coordinating all the special events for Lakewood Church. Later, she continued to assist Joel Osteen at the start of Channel 55, The Tube.
After the passing of Pastor John Osteen, she continued to serve Pastor Joel Osteen for the next few years. From there, she and Tim helped to start a church in north Houston. Now, the Lord has led them to assist local churches throughout the Body of Christ in a number of areas.

Richard & Michael Parkinson
Tim and Ruth Parkinson have been happily married over 29 years and have twin miracle boys, Richard and Michael who are now 10 years old.
Having attended church services with their parents, Richard & Michael got saved at the age of 6 years old and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. They also have been active in local church holiday presentations and went to Hong Kong, China and appeared in a multicultural-national Christmas outreach. Richard & Michael play the drums and bass guitar respectively, and have ministered with their father & mother in services and on local Christian television in Houston.
